The nicely sorted, original catalogs can be a great help in finding your way around in Merkel motorcycle types and years. The catalogs on the following pages also provide detailed descriptions of the Flying Merkels technical features and options. The first catalog, listed here dates from 1909. The 1910 publication, though incomplete, it is a very exciting one, showing the Merkel's Racing Specials.
